Consultation & Commissioning Process
This symposium event was introduced to local people, industry and the press several months prior to the symposium event. The event itself involved process of consultation between the artists and landscape architects. Schools workshops and a mentoring programme with young artists as assistants supported an educational dimension to the event.
Artist’s brief was prepared prior to the selection process and in consultation with an artist. Selection was organised through a judging panel made up of representatives from the project management, applicant organisation and artists.
