Consultation & Commissioning Process
Through the artist-in-residence project Sybille had developed very positive relationships with local community groups. The work, “Landmark” is the result of a collaboration with four young girls who live in the Dickshill area where the work is sited. The local Family Centre raised funds towards the cost of “Landmark” reflecting the level of public interest in this project.
Sybille von Halem was commissioned to create the artworks in addition to, but as a development from, her residency programme.
Outcomes
- Watermark: three wall mounted panels facing ferry terminal
- Tidemarks: installation of carved stones at Castle Green.
