THE VISUAL ARTS CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (UK)
Six six-week residencies for mid-career UK based Visual artists, makers, critical writers and curators from 4 August-12 September 2008. The artists will each receive a fee of £2,400 and a £1000 materials/research allowance, accommodation and when appropriate, a studio on site.

Cove Park is an international centre based in Scotland for the arts and creative industries. Founded in 1999 by Eileen and Peter Jacobs, Cove Park runs an annual programme of residencies for artists working in all art forms. Cove Park supports and promotes the work of the artists on residency and creates opportunities for public participation through a related events programme.
Cove Park’s 2008 residencies will begin in May this year. Is is still possible to the Visual Arts Creative Development Programme, 4 August – 12 September.

Residencies for practitioners across all artforms who either live and work in Argyll and Bute or have close connections to the region. A maximum of three residencies will be offered for a minimum of two weeks each.
