Job Opportunity: Arts Development Officer, Livingston

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic person to join West Lothian Council’s Arts Services. As part of this team you will play a key role in the co-ordination and development of arts initiatives and facilities throughout the area.

This post also has a specific responsibility to implement the council’s public art policy and strategy working with Planning Services and the development of the visual arts programme and facilities.
You should have experience of project management in visual and public art projects, commissioning artists, managing contracts and partnership working, including negotiating funding through internal and external sources and have the ability to be creative and innovative.
Based in Livingston with some travel in West Lothian necessary. A willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends is essential.
The successful candidate will be based at Craigsfarm Campus, Livingston, with a salary of £25,115 – £28,719.
