Alex Hetherington will present a video performance, Duet based on the song structures and self-determined language of the Scottish pop group The Cocteau Twins. Here he employs technology to re-manipulate his voice while using video technique in an attempt to recreate the secret language of twins Jennifer and June Gibbons. Be prepared to be moved in unexpected ways. Alex is a performance innovator, writer and curator who is supported by The Scottish Arts Council. Recent projects include Skank Bloc Bologna #1, TART, SF, US; Live Art Falmouth, Falmouth, UK; File 2008, Sao Paulo, Brazil; Videoholica, Varna, Bulgaria; Meddle with the Devil and House/Lights, Falkirk, UK and Edinburgh International Festival 2008.
